The applicant must be a researcher in the field of pediatric cancer and must hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. or master's).
Applicants must be affiliated with academic, industrial, or governmental institutions concerned with cancer research, oncology treatment, or biomedical sciences.
The applicant must be from one of the Arabic-speaking countries in the Middle East.
The research must have been completed in the past three years.
The applicant must have conducted research or personally overseen the completion of a research project.

Nominations
Competition relies on a third-party nomination system only.
Nominations may be submitted by any institution or scientist currently or previously affiliated with any institution concerned with cancer research or treatment.
Self-nominations are not allowed.
There is no limit to the number of applicants that may be nominated by any institution or individual.
Changes to the nomination:
Withdrawal of nomination: Nominations can be withdrawn within two weeks only from the date of the closing of nominations.
Nominations cannot be withdrawn after this period.
